We’re Travel and Transport. This is our new blog. We hope you like it.

We’re doing a lot of great things. Really. We are leading the way in a lot of areas of travel management and we hope that you’ll want to know more about that. If you do, we have a fantastic web site over at www.TandT.com that’s full of great information presented in an eye-pleasing manner. We really want you to see it!

But this blog will be a little bit different. Travel and Transport is more than the services we provide, the technology we’ve developed, and the long-term partnerships we’ve formed with some other really wonderful companies. Travel and Transport is about people.

We’re 100% employee-owned. What does that mean? It means that every one of our employees – from our travel counselors, to our accounting department, all the way up to our executive team – has ownership in Travel and Transport. They really do. And it’s not just trivial. We are all owners and have a real, vested interest in this company.

We have so many people with so much expertise in travel and travel management that we’ll of course bring some of that to you here. We’ll have our experts provide you with their opinions and advice on current travel-related topics and best practices.

But we’ll also have posts from our people – talking about the things that they care about. The experiences they’ve had – mostly, but not always, travel-related.

For example, we recently talked with our President and CEO, Bill Tech, about his experiences at the RADIUS global meeting in Hong Kong. That will appear on the blog soon. Also appearing soon will be a posting from Chuck in our marketing department about his experiences traveling by Amtrak from Omaha to Denver.

So this blog is really going to be a look “under the hood” at Travel and Transport. It’s not just about our company, but it’s about the people that make our company. It will evolve and change over time as well, just like people do.
