NBTA Monday Recap

After a great kick-off weekend of setting up and getting ready for the big event, The 2010 NBTA International Convention & Exposition is well underway! We are proud to be a sponsor of the NBTA Foundation, and actually have two employee-owners giving their Global Leadership Professional Program presentations this week - Penny Watermeier presented on Monday. Way to go Penny!

Quite a few T&T employee-owners and customers attended the Travel's Value Chain CEO Panel, followed by a well-received speech from former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice. We heard a lot of comments that Rice really knew her audience and was a fantastic speaker. Here's a good recap.

Monday was capped by an amazing dinner event at Mark's American Cuisine, which is set in a 1920's renovated church. Following dinner, we were honored to have special guests Charles O. Hobaugh – Colonel, USMC – NASA Astronaut and Paul S. Hill – Director of Mission Operations, NASA, who described their experiences in the space program.
